Las Vegas Preseason Tournament Announced

DATE: October 30, 2010

SITE: Ballys Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, NV (Main Ballroom)

RULES: Modified National Federation High School Rules (minimum rest

between matches and maximum number of matches not in effect). Hair code

& fingernails will be enforced by referees. Hair cover (if required) must be with

wrestler at weigh-in. 

ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries must be received by October 22, 2010. Phase One 

early registration must be completed by midnight Sunday September 12, 2010.

FEE: Phase one early registration is $40.00. Normal Online Registration after September 12, 2010 to be paid by 8:00 PM October 22, 2010 is $50.00. Wrestler may enter only one weight class and only one age group. Walk Up Registration $60.00.

FORMAT: Double Elimination – No Seeding – Challenge for second format.

Referee decisions final. All protests to be directed to tournament directors. All

age protests must be made before final match of first day of wrestling for that

particular age group. Birth certificates must be available if requested by tournament

directors.

Special Note: This division is intended to be for non state qualifiers. While we will not be verifying credentials we hope that all participants respect the intent of this developmental division.

CHILD ABUSE, ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, ETC.

WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL BE DEALT WITH SEVERELY.

TIME PERIODS

1.5-1.5- 1.5 minute periods Including Finals.

AWARDS

1st through 8th

– 1st Place recieves 5" Custom Medal. 

  2nd Through 8th  Recieve a 3" Custom Medal

2:30pm– Midnight Pick up coaches packets early at the Ballys Hotel 

(Table at Ballroom)

5:00PM – Midnight Weigh-in for all divisions (In Event Center @ Ballys)

Must make weight in competition singlet

Saturday, October 30, 2010

10:00 AM Wrestling begins for all divisions through Qtrs and Consi Qtrs

Wrestling times subject to change depending on number of entries.
