I hope everyone enjoyed your summer. I’m back in the classroom and ready for this coming school year. In a bit of news, I’m putting together a state coaches convention here in Redmond, OR. If you’d like to take a gander you can see what we’re doing at www.oregoncoachessummit.blogspot.com.
I know wrestling season is a ways off, but we try to have things in order long before the start of the season. As a part of this process we are looking for a new person/people to take over coaching responsibilities for our kids wrestling program. We have spent a lot of time in the off season putting together a syllabus for our kids club, and I am planning a coaches course to help new coaches learn our system. If you know someone who has some wrestling background, and would be interested in working with our kids, please forward their names to either myself, or the club President Justy Haney.
