Road Trip 2010

The Panthers completed an 836 mile, 4 day road trip through Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.  The team started on Monday, July 5th by traveling to Moses Lake, Washington and scrimmaging with one of the favorites to win the Washington team title next year.  We continued onto visit the Cabellas Superstore in Post Falls, Idaho before making camp in Athol, Idaho.
Tuesday, after spending the early afternoon at Coeur d'Alene Lake, the team visited the Washington Intensive Wrestling Camp at Lakeside Nine Mile Falls High School north of Spokane.  The team went through an intensive practice, then wrestled in a situational tournament that evening.  Before returning to camp, the team was able to get in a race at an indoor go cart track in Spokane.
Wednesday the team met up with wrestlers from Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls, Idaho.  Coeur d'Alene was the team state champions last season in Idaho.  We wrestled in a round robin scrimmage with the Idaho teams in the gym at North Idaho College.  After the scrimmage the team had the rest of the day at Silverwood Theme Park.
Thursday the team headed back to Redmond but before finishing the trip we stopped off at Pasco High School where we finished with a scrimmage against Tri-Cities area teams such at Richland, Pasco and Southridge.
