Off Season Wrestling Highlights

A bevy of Panther wrestlers were in action this past weekend as wrestlers competed in both Freestyle and Folkstyle competition.  At RHS, the Central Oregon Freestyle club competed in duals against five other programs and went 4-1 on the day. The High Desert Duals were a first for the program, and look to grow over the next few years.  The duals were a warm up for the OWA’s Greco and Freestyle State Championships that will be held the next two weekends.  In collegiate action, Colby Fultz, Ryan Haney and Brandon Short traveled to Reno to compete in the notoriously tough Reno Worlds tournament.  Brandon was able to finish 5^th at 91 lbs.  Great job to all our competitors.
