Cal State Bakersfield has recently made the announcement that they are going to drop Wrestling along with three other sports. Wrestling is one of the most successful programs in Cal State Bakersfield history, and would be a huge loss to west coast college wrestling. With the reduction of Oregon and Portland State, only Oregon State, Boise State, Stanford, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton and Arizona State remain in the Pac 10 Conference for wrestling.
